How to Get Victory Over impure thoughts

   Many Christians  face problems in overcoming their impure habits. Hence, they get  discouraged easily and give up their relationship with Christ. Satan makes you to believe that you are the only one who has this problem and you can't get victory over that.

   Impure habits are a by-products of Impure thoughts.  If a christian wants to overcome the sin of  impure thoughts, they have to memorize certain scriptures.

Impure Thoughts

    Romans (8:12-15) 

12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.

 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live

14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship

Paul wrote the above things to help us overcome the power of sin through the power of Holy spirit.

There are two types of life that you can live in this world,

1. Living according to Flesh.

2.Living according to Spirit.

Bible clearly says that, If we live according to the flesh we will die. Living according to flesh is by neglecting the word of God and by living a life with our own fleshly desires.

If We live according to flesh, We will be completely separated from God. Which will take us to the eternal hell .Going to eternal hell is called the  Death.

               If We live by the Spirit, We become the Children of God so that we will not become the slaves of Sin.

Galatians (5:16-25)

16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 

25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

    To Overcome the impure habits, We have to walk in the Spirit.

    The only way to walk in the Spirit is through Faith in Jesus Christ, which is also called Spiritual Breathing.Spiritual Breathing, like physical breathing, is a process of exhaling the impure and inhaling the pure, an exercise in faith that enables you to experience God's love and forgiveness and walk in the Spirit as a way of life.
